Cover Reveal: The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater ++

So, I was poking around Goodreads as usual, checking out updates of some of the books I can't wait to read. You know, covers, blurbs and stuff that would at least assure me and my broken feelings that the book is on its way to publication. And I saw several covers that had me completely undone.

First on the list is:

The Dream Thieves
(The Raven Cycle #2)
by Maggie Stiefvater

The second installment in the all-new series from the masterful, #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater!

Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Ronan, Gansey, Blue, and Adam will be the same. Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life. Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after...

You guys should know that I am now a very big fan of Maggie. The Raven Boys is the first book I read that she'd written and I absolutely loved it. I read the Wolves of Mercy Falls after that and fell in love with it, too. The Scorpio Races would be up next and then this! The second book of the Raven Cycle which, by the way, is one the books I am dying to read. Hear it? Dyyiing. Anyway, look at that cover.. I did a little scream when I saw it.
Ah-mazing.

Book #2:

Siege and Storm
(The Grisha #2)
by Leigh Bardugo

Darkness never dies.

Hunted across the True Sea, haunted by the lives she took on the Fold, Alina must try to make a life with Mal in an unfamiliar land, all while keeping her identity as the Sun Summoner a secret. But she can’t outrun her past or her destiny for long.

The Darkling has emerged from the Shadow Fold with a terrifying new power and a dangerous plan that will test the very boundaries of the natural world. With the help of a notorious privateer, Alina returns to the country she abandoned, determined to fight the forces gathering against Ravka. But as her power grows, Alina slips deeper into the Darkling’s game of forbidden magic, and farther away from Mal. Somehow, she will have to choose between her country, her power, and the love she always thought would guide her–or risk losing everything to the oncoming storm.

Comment:
Well, what do I say? This series' covers are just as gorgeous as what is inside and as elegant as the keftas, especially the black one worn by the villain-of-my-life Darkling. Simple and not overly done, not too flashy (really love the colors) but definitely screams 'PICK ME!'. Really, I don't judge a book basing on what I see on the outside. But you have to admit that a beautiful one can easily pull you in. And I appreciate pretty covers and the effort it takes to make it like this.

And last but not the least:

Through the Zombie Glass
(White Rabbit Chronicles #2)
by Gena Showalter

Inspired by the childhood classic Alice in Wonderland, this harrowing and romantic story features teen zombie slayer Alice Bell who has lost so much—family, friends, her home. After a strange new zombie attack, Alice fears she may be losing her mind as well. A terrible darkness blooms inside her, urging her to do wicked things. The whispers of the dead assault her ears and mirrors seem to come frighteningly to life. She’s never needed her team of zombie slayers more—including her boyfriend, Cole—than she does now. But as Cole strangely withdraws and the zombies gain new strength, Ali knows one false step may doom them all.

Ah, well, I'm looking forward to more of Alice's adventure. I really liked the first book, it's so funny! Also one of the few zombie books I liked, not that I read many but still. As for the cover, it's amazing!! The mirror concept is very nice and I love the color choices.
