2015 Most Anticipated Books Part 2

2015 is halfway over! Well, almost but we're getting there. Before 2014 ended I made my list of most anticipated books and movies that are coming out this year. They're all out now and I've seen both The DUFF and Pitch Perfect 2 (loved them so much!) and read half of the books in that list: All Fall Down, The Storyspinner, and The Orphan Queen. So I decided to make a new one that includes all of the books I am VERY MUCH looking forward to that are going to be released on the the second half of 2015.

There are SO MANY titles I am excited about I couldn't keep myself from not clicking that damn to-read button on Goodreads and bookmarking everything. Then there was BEA and everyone who came to the event are posting pictures and talking about all of these upcoming must-haves and my mind just keeps going WANT, WANT, WANT #somuchwant. Here are my top 10:

Lair of Dreams
(The Diviners #2)
by Libba Bray
Expected Publication: August 25, 2015

Oh. Oh, yes. THIS. It's got to be at the top of the list. Its release date was moved so many times and now I've been waiting almost two years. Just imagine what those people who actually read The Diviners right when it was released are feeling.

The Revolution of Ivy
(The Book of Ivy #2)
by Amy Engel
Expected Publication: November 3, 2015

Anyone who read AND loved The Book of Ivy will understand the struggle. Long story short, November can't come soon enough.

Crossed
(Soul Eaters #3)
by Eliza Crewe
Expected Publication: August 11, 2015
Goodreads

Here's another book I had to wait for longer than usual. When you receive an ARC of the sequel (Crushed) to a book you are obsessed with (Cracked) do you wait until it gets closer to the release date to read it? Hell no. Even if the wait for the next book is torture. Even then.

The Immortal Heights
(The Elemental Trilogy #3)
by Sherry Thomas
Expected Publication: October 13, 2015
Goodreads

The Perilous Sea's ending would make you beg and grovel and pine for The Immortal Heights. Or at least that's what it did to me.

Illuminae
(The Illuminae Files #1)
by Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff
Expected Publication: October 20, 2015
Goodreads

One of the most anticipated books by everyone this year, amiright? And just look at all those publicity for this book. That beautiful HARDCOVER ARC, for one? Yeah, but that's not the main reason why I'm dying to have this. It's planet invasion! And there's a spaceship with a mad computer. Plus, I've read both Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff's works and I know they're going to be absolutely fantastic together.

The Scorpion Rules
by Erin Bow
Expected Publication: September 22, 2015
Goodreads

"The Children of Peace - sons and daughters of kings and presidents and generals - are raised together in small, isolated schools called Preceptures. There, they learn history and political theory, and are taught to gracefully accept what may well be their fate: to die if their countries declare war."
Uh huh. GIMME!

Court of Fives
(Court of Fives #1)
by Kate Elliott
Expected Publication: August 18, 2015
Goodreads

It's a fantasy book so I'm definitely in and I heard "Game of Thrones" somewhere in there. But then there's "...train for The Fives, an intricate, multi-level athletic competition that offers a chance for glory to the kingdom's best competitors". Ooooh yeah.

Legacy of Kings
(Blood of Gods and Royals #1)
by Eleanor Herman
Expected Publication: August 25, 2015
Goodreads

Another fantasy! This time "New York Times bestselling author Eleanor Herman reimagines the greatest emperor the world has ever known: Alexander the Great".

Dreamstrider
by Lindsay Smith
Expected Publication: October 6, 2015
Goodreads

"Graceling meet Inception"? You really don't have to say anything after that to convince me. But "A high-concept, fantastical espionage novel set in a world where dreams are the ultimate form of political intelligence." is great motivation, too.

Vengeance Road
by Erin Bowman
Expected Publication: September 1, 2015
Goodreads

I haven't read any Erin Bowman's books but I've been wanting to for a long time. I'm probably gonna start with her Taken series first but I have to say, Vengeance Road's cover is full of awesome. And it's YA western which I don't hear a lot about so it definitely intrigues me.
