REVIEW

I'd like to start this review by saying how amazing it is to see your favorite books getting recognized more and more throughout the years instead of the opposite. I have been a fan of the Creepy Hollow series even before the first book became The Faerie Guardian. They were just four novelletes then. Fifty or so pages each but still full of awesome-ness that I can't help but remember, very early in the morning just after I woke up, hurriedly looking for the sequel after finishing the previous one the night before instead of getting ready for school. I was that obsessed.

And now here we are with a fifth book! It's sad to see it end and I thought for sure The Faerie War (book 3) was definitely it. But here comes this wonderful surprise: Calla's story but still Creepy Hollow. In a way, The Faerie War really was an ending and A Faerie's Secret (book 4) a new beginning. Believe it or not, it's just as exciting.

Did I recall yet how A Faerie's Secret left us all hanging it was almost torture? Wait no more, A Faerie's Revenge is here. Doesn't that title sound so ominous especially with how the previous book ended? Well, you better prepare yourselves. The suspense in this one! There's so much that happened I couldn't seem to catch my breath. Poor Calla. She finally gets to know the whole of Chase's story and his role in... well, everything. I'd like to add quotes from the book that I really liked and I thought were really funny but I don't want to accidentally spoil someone who hasn't started this series yet. I know how it feels.

I don't know how many times I thought:

I know they need time but Calla and Chase are so cute together and I am an impatient woman :D

I really love Chase. He doesn't try to justify his wrongs and all he's done in the past but does his best to make up for it by doing what's good in the present and I love him for it. He suffers a great deal inside and my heart beaks for him. I believed him to be a good guy even from the start - the VERY start - and I'm glad that he's making the most of his life now instead of crying in a corner, feeling sorry for himself. The acceptance and forgiveness in this book makes me want to cry.

A Faerie's Revenge did not disappoint. If you enjoyed the rest of the series, then rest assured, you'd love this as well. And get a lesson or two out of it. Creepy Hollow is still a highly recommended series of mine. For those of you who doesn't know shiz of what I'm talking about, go get a copy of the first book. It's free on Kindle. Get it, read it, love it.
