COVER TREND: Purple, Pink, Orange

Purple, pink, orange -- that is my most favorite color combination of all, if the pinks and purples of this blog isn't a dead giveaway. I noticed that some of my most awaited books and favorite covers this year are pink-purple-orange so why not give them a pitch because of that ;)

The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows - This is the sequel to The Orphan Queen and it comes out... well, next year. April 2016. I didn't like The Orphan Queen (I gave it 2 stars) but I am still dying to read The Mirror King. Reason: cliffhanger. THAT COVER IS GORGEOOOOUS *dances* It almost made me forget that 7 months is long time.

The Immortal Heights by Sherry Thomas - Another book I am dying to read because of a cliffhanger. The Immortal Heights is the last book in the trilogy and I'm not sure I'm ready for this to be over yet but I have almost two more months to prepare myself so...

Ungodly by Kendare Blake - The third book in the Goddess War series (trilogy?) and it is about Greek mythology. I probably am not going to read Ungodly. I read the first one, Antigoddess, maybe two years ago and gave it 2 stars. I can't really remember anything about it except that it has a sad ending.

The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan - The first book in Rick Riordan's new spin-off series and I can't wait. I CAN'T WAIT. Okay, so I actually haven't read House of Hades and Blood of Olympus yet but still. Seriously, though. I've had House of Hades for AGES  (I bought it right when it came out) but I haven't picked it up yet and I really don't know why.

Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner - I really enjoyed These Broken Stars but I was disappointed with This Shattered World. That doesn't stop me from pining Their Fractured Light. I have a feeling Lilac and Tarver will be more than cameos in this book and I miss them both SO. MUCH.

Fire Walker by Josephine Angelini - I haven't started this trilogy yet but I've always wanted to read Trial by Fire. I loved Starcrossed and Dreamless (haven't got the chance to read Goddess yet) so I have high hopes for this one. Not to mention it's about witches. Also, Fire Walker's cover is so cool. Or is it hot?

Across the Universe by Beth Revis - This isn't an upcoming release. I just can't resist. That is coolest cover there is! I love it so much. So does everyone I know. So why make a new one? I don't understand. I mean, I'm cool with the new covers -- they actually all look good together. I just think the original covers are better and doesn't need any changing.
